We have all had sleepless nights recently because a possum has adopted us. It has been running up and down the balcony in the middle of the night and it's made it's home in a gap in a wall outside. Yesterday dad had enough and borrowed a trap from Sandy and Greg and I helped dad set it with an apple. Within half an hour we had our possum. Dad woke me up very early to tell me we had trapped it.
I went and gave it some food (carrots and apples) before putting it in the back of dad's car and taking it for a ride to nearby bushland.
We gave it some more food before releasing it to it's new home. We will all sleep sound tonight, except possibly the possum.
