The Bakers of Darwin: Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia; Hello, my name is Jake Baker and I am 7 years old. I have started 1st year at school and my teacher says that I have lots of energy. I like riding my bike and swimming. I also like trying to be helpful for mum and dad. This is not always appreciated though, like the times I pour my own drinks or get my eggs from the fridge and put them on the bench. I dislike tidying my room. I live with Mum (Tracy) and Dad (Jon) in Darwin in the extreme north, heat and humidty of Australia. Mum is a massage therapist and is great at putting clients to sleep. Dad is a manager of a training organisation which scares people by putting them in a helicopter simulator and turning them upside down in the water. The weekend is the best time of the week for me as I have mum and dad all to myself and can really, really run them ragged.
